Step-by-Step Guide

Open a Browser: On your PC, phone, or console, open a web browser and go to epicgames.com. 

Sign In: Sign in to your Epic Games account. If you're already signed into your console's account through Fortnite, you may be able to sign in using that method. 

Go to Account Settings: Click on your username or profile icon in the top right corner and select Account. 

Select Apps and Accounts: In the menu on the left-hand side, click on Apps and Accounts. 

Connect Your Console: Under the "Accounts" section, find the platform (like Xbox, PlayStation, or Nintendo) you want to link and click the Connect button next to it. 

Connect Account: You will be taken to your console's sign-in page. Sign in to your console account and approve any prompts to link your platform account to your Epic Games account. 

Confirm Connection: After a successful link, you'll see a confirmation message on the Epic Games site, and your connected device will show with your username on the Apps and Accounts screen. 

Restart Fortnite: Close and restart the Fortnite game on your console for the changes to take effect and to ensure your account and progress are logged in. 

To fix a Fortnite bug, try restarting the game and your console/PC, checking for updates, and verifying game file integrity. If the issue persists, you may need to clear the Epic Games Launcher cache, power cycle your console, or reinstall Fortnite. For in-game issues, you can also adjust your graphics or building settings, or report the bug through the game's menu. 

For PC users:

Restart and Verify Files: Close Fortnite and the Epic Games Launcher, then restart your PC. Open the Epic Games Launcher, go to your library, find Fortnite, click the three dots, select "Manage," and then click "Verify". 

Clear Launcher Cache: If the issue continues, close the Epic Games Launcher completely. Press the Windows key + R, type %localappdata% and press Enter. Open the EpicGamesLauncher folder, then the Saved folder, and delete the webcache, webcache_4147, and webcache_4430 folders. 

Update Drivers: Make sure your graphics card drivers are up to date.
